Which devices can I use with the Rudolph Story App?

Bent Storyteller apps are currently compatible iPhone (5s and newer) & iPad (iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 and newer) with iOS 8.0 and higher.

We are working on making our apps compatible with iPhone 5, 5c, and Android devices. Support is coming soon!

Will the Rudolph Storybook App be educational? Will it teach me anything?

In Rudolph, the narrated story appears with readable sections, giving young readers the opportunity to follow along and practice their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency.

How old should I be to play the Rudolph Storybook App?

Rudolph was designed for kids ages 6 to 8, but we think you are never too old to enjoy the timeless story of Rudolph and his friends! Stories are best when shared, and all ages are encouraged to experience this holiday classic.

What if I can’t read yet? Can I still play?

Of course! The Rudolph Storybook App is filled with on-screen cues, silly sounds, and wacky interactions, giving anyone with curiosity and an itchy tapping finger a reason to play.

Is the Rudolph Story App available in other languages?

Before You Play

Where can I buy Bent Storyteller apps?

Bent Storyteller apps are currently available in the App Store. We plan on making it available on Google Play soon.

Do Bent Storyteller apps have in-app purchases or advertisements?

Nope. Our apps do not include any in-app advertisements. Once purchased, our apps won’t prompt you to buy anything else.

Can I play the Rudolph Story App on Android?

Not yet, we hope to complete an Android-compatible version in the future!

Do I need headphones to play?

There is entertaining audio in the Rudolph Story app, so a pair of headphones or a nice quiet place to play is recommended. Visual elements, like in-page interactions, 3D elements, and coloring activities make Rudolph lots of fun, even without the sound turned up.

Do you collect or share any personal information about me or my child when we use Bent Storyteller apps?

Absolutely not! Bent Storyteller does not collect or share any personal information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.

We do collect anonymous analytics data to help us build better apps. This information includes type of device, duration of play, location by city or region, and engagement with app features.

Troubleshooting

My app won’t download. What should I do?

Make sure you have a strong connection and that your device has enough storage for the new app. If your connection is strong and you have enough storage space, the App Store may be out of order. Try syncing your device to iTunes on your computer by plugging the device in. This should allow the download to restart and complete.

I don’t hear sound when I play the Rudolph app. How do I fix this?

Check the pause menu to make sure you haven’t toggled any of the audio off. If that doesn’t work, check the volume of your device. Finally, if your device volume is turned all the way up, and you are still having trouble with hearing audio, check your device’s settings menu to ensure that sound is enabled.

Something’s not working for me. What do I do?

Does Bent Storyteller make any other apps?

Bent has made all sorts of wonderful creative things, but the Rudolph Storybook App is our first offering on the App Store.
